DescriptionAfrimakeup is a brand that prides itself in delivering top quality services of professional makeup artistes to each doorstep. They needed a fresh personality tailored to attract ladies that don’t settle for anything less than perfection in their looks.
Among many interpretations, ‘Afri’ is used to refer to ‘Berbers’ a tribe in North Africa, and the symbol for the Berber woman looks like a widespread ‘M’ atop a staff.
We manipulated ‘A’ and ‘M’ from Afrimakeup into outlines of mountains in perspective that imitate the widespread ‘M’ from the Berber woman symbol. Its message: beauty at its peak.
The circle that forms the bar in the ‘A’ is also represented in different colours as their brand element. With ladies as Afrimakeup’s target, we ensured that its most attractive qualities – flexibility and softness – are subtly highlighted.
Font: Mulitcolore, Vonique 64, Trench, Browalia.
Brand Colour Palette: White, Black, Fuschia, Cream.
Brand Element: Softly layered and lightly transparent circles.
The goal is to inspire ladies to call on experts for that stunning look every day. Their brand language is thus a call to action in precise words that have just the right touch of femininity.
